20, 1996: a Chinese Valentine's Day, my very first website was
created; Chi Lam Internet Fan Club
(later named "Chi-Lamania Club")
soon opened as well;
August
26, 1996: first day of my junior year, I was ready to go through
this hardest year in high school;
December
20, 1996: first day of X'mas vacation, halfway through my junior
year, it wasn't that bad, and, I started writing a revision for the
site;
February,
1997: after several other editings, there was a special update
for Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year.
Spring,
1997: '97 Spring Edition released;
May
2, 1997: this website, after 9 months from its creation, has received
10,000 hits, by all the supporter!
June
17, 1997: can't believe that junior year was over one week ago!
And, after the individual updates on each part of this site, a non-beta
version is now finally up, as named "The Official Chilam Cheung
Fan Site". Several mirror sites were made as well.
July
31, 1997: After enjoying a wonderful time in Summer Ventures at
WCU, I returned; and replaced the front picture for this site
right after the hits of the site reached over 20,000 that morning
at exactly 0:00!
August
4, 1997: A new front page is finally fixed, just for the upcoming
birthday of this site and the birthday celebration for Chilam online!
An early Happy Birthday, to both Chi-Lam and this site!!

27, 1997: Today is Chi-Lam's 26th birthday, all CLIFC
members and I want to say "Happy Birthday!" to the one and
the only Chi-Lam!

28, 1997: The front page was updated for "Theft Under The
Sun" premiere, taken place on this date!

29, 1997: Another new look for the front page!
October
19, 1997: Chi-Lam's newest ad picture for U2 has been posted on
the newest version of the front page, and what makes me really happy
is that a Taiwan search site has listed my site in their "What's
New" section. =)
March
21, 1998: Since last October, I've been busy with all the college
applications and I've known by now that I got accepted by two schools
already, what I really want to hear are those schools who send out
notices in April, i.e. Duke. So 10 more days... And on the other hand,
I didn't do much with this website, besides updating the front page
with the newest pictures from news, movie, and new album of Chi-Lam's.
I still want to thank all my visitors, because today, this site has
broke 50,000 hits! Thank you for your support to this site, and of
course, to Chilam!
April
1998: April has been a special month, especially this April. Not
only because there is my 18th birthday, but moreover, on the first
day of April, I received an express mail from Duke
University that pretty much determined my (near) future. And in
addition to all these, I have heard from a friend who has been gone
for a long time...
May
1, 1998: Finally, I announced to all Chilamanians about the newest
service for them: a site where they can send or receive Chi-Lam postcards
on the net.
July
7, 1999: The first year in college has been exciting yet surprisingly
different. I had a hard time adapting to university life... and thus,
I have not been taken good care of this site. SORRY... =( But today,
as a special birthday gift this year... I purchased my/Chilam's first
very own domain - Chilam.com
July
2000: Another year of absence from the website?! Well... I'm back...
finally! In fact, I just came back from a great trip in Shanghai one
month ago (photos will be up soon!). Chilam.com
Mail service is finally open to public! And, two additional domains
are purchased for this site. Everything is being prepared for the
grand opening of Chilam.com on August 20th... ...

20, 2000: 4 years after its initial launch, The Official Julian
Cheung Fan Site now launches as the official Chilam.com fan site!
